  1. Somebody else's customer goodbye !!!
  2. Regardless of the tree being a nuisance or problem, which it obviously is, another point maybe that as the driveway has to be repaired anyway why not repair it in a tree friendly manner thus keeping the tree rather than felling it. Cost wise I cant see it being much more if at all If I was a tree officer and the tree in question is a good and healthy specimen and deserves its retention and TPO status it would certainly be something I would want to at least be investigated.
  3. Hi all Experienced surveyor/ consultant Just want to offer my services as per title for anyone who needs. I travel the UK but for the next couple of months I will mainly be in the Kent, London, Surrey, Cheshire, Yorkshire areas as well as my own area of East Anglia. Looking to double up on any type of survey work any of you may have but can't or don't want to do. Services include BS5837 surveys reports and plans, H&S Surveys, individual tree assessments and plan drawing using AutoCAD. Will do individual elements or can do the whole package if needed. I give excellent rates to trade so plenty of room for profit for yourself. PM me and leave details and I'll get in touch Cheers Steve
  4. Its whoever put the original application in fault in not ticking the corect box so personally I would inform the client of this and start negotiations with the LPA so probably not wise to immediately cut the tree until you have talked with the TO regarding this. Howevere pp has been given so the development can go ahead and it is probably plainly clear that the tree cannot be retained if its that close, this part crucially has not been picked up by the LPA or TO as the tree was indicated on approved plans so they either dont care about the tree or have not been to the site oops naughty naughty. If the tree is that poor I would discuss its removal based on this along with the fact that approved PP is given and as the tree is unlikely to survive the construction being so close felling is the only option if they dont like it then take it to appeal. Oh and charge a nice big fat hourly rate !!!
  5. Hi

Notice that you can sort training out for UA5, have UA1 2006 , as I'd like to get into the surveying side of it as a freelance position. Based in Norfolk but travel UK wide if you could PM me more details, prices etc that would be great.

    Cheers
