Nice chap, residential home, wanted chip for garden.
  1. Hi all Went out to congleton the other week to look at a large job and found this at the bottom of a very mature sycamore, approx 1m at the base and 80ft tall in a woodland setting on a bank over some houses. Trees close by are 2 mature beech, one of which has a nice hole in the bottom and honey fungus making its way upwards. Pics are attached. I think it may be Ganoderma but i have limited fungi knowledge

  3. Im currently in talks with my local dealer about the brand shape crew cab, they really have thought about the van driver giving lots of cubby hols and fold out consoles along with monster 6 leaf rear springs and im looking at the new 3.0 twin turbo
  4. Need a hand identifying these little fellas, found them at the base of a pollarded horse chestnut, canopy looks pretty full of a old tree just wondering if its worth worrying about it? Cheers, Nathan
  5. Got a biggish job in west bridgeford coming up so round there would be perfect, but anywhere j26 side of notts would be local.
  6. Hi looking for some tip sites for wood chip in and around nottingham, plus can give away logs and will deliver to most locations. Willing to pay to tip. Cheers Nathan
  7. I wonder if anyone has an insight into where I can find a few either recycling or tip sites in and around the Nottingham area for woodchip and logs, they dont have to be the same place. Does anyone know of any farmers etc willing to take? Not for free of course unless they are generous enough to do so. I would like to find one out towards the West Bridgeford/Edwalton/Clifton area of Nottingham, and any other area if it is close by. Obviously I understand these places are trade secrets but if anyone does and is willing to share i would be more than grateful. Also if anyone splits and trades logs im more than willing to keep them stocked up. Many Thanks, Nathan
  8. Quick quiz, how much, how long and how many blokes? 8x 90ft Lombardy's on a 80ftlarge 2:1 embankment to be pollarded to 8m. Pictures coming soon.
  9. There is a place called nottingham body craft down in colwick just up from marsdons but I hope you have your wallet at the ready. It'll last a lifetime but so will the tears in your eyes.
  10. You could have left it under there for a few years and called in them two portly fellows off swamp loggers to get it out, they always look they would work for a hand full of nuts and a shower.
  11. No, no. No smuggling not unless it has Stihl written on it.
  12. bottom shelf is the height of a stihl fuel can with nozzles, middle shelf good for shovels, signs and hedge cutters top is for climbing kit, and anything that doesn't want covering in oil, haha
  13. Searched google one by one looking for ideas looked on here and found a poor poor effort of a Iveco kitted out. Then I thought i've got a few tools and a measuring stick I'll do it. This is the fruit of my labour its only missing a kettle and curtains and it would be a sleeper cab. All you need are a few simple tools....tape measure, pencil, plywood, self tapping screws, metre rule, drill, centre punch, silicon sealant, roofing lat, circular saw, jigsaw, sander/planer, garage to cut said pieces, 3 pairs of hands, and a shed load of time. Not a lot really.
