I was in a similar position as you with regards to a grinder 3 years ago. I bought a Vermeer 252 in the end and its been great. I am now considering up grading my machine. It will probably be for sale for sale for 6.5k plus the vat and has only 180 hrs on it with loads of spares. I am looking to get a bigger bandit in the near future. My only advice to you for now is to buy the best and most capable machine you can afford to get. I ve also got a predator 350 for smaller stuff but would not want to be using it all day much better to be pulling levers and getting the job done properly.

Good luck in your search and take your time to find one that suits you.
