  1. 4Motion Transporter or Caddy may work
  2. The 4Motion is amazing, Ive never driven the Caddy 4motion but Ive had a T5 4motion, the best van Ive ever had and it pulls like a train. Ive got a Caddy Maxi at the minute the 1.6 TDI and I pull a 9x4 trailer with mesh sides and its not great on fuel with the trailer on, the 2.0 TDI 4Motion would be great I'd imagine but the T5 4motion 130bhp is awesome
  3. The Pitchcare site is brill.... thanks
  4. It probably seems obvious to some of you one "whats, what" but I don't know anybody personally in this industry so its learn as I go. If you know of anyone needing labour help and its within a sensible driving time or they could cover the fuel cost, I'd love some experience and to work a little more within the industry to learn more. I have a couple of days a week and obviously weekends free. Thank you for the replies Marc
  5. Great, thanks for the replies.... headgroundsman: I looked loaclly after putting the post up so thanks for that. Steve Bulman: Its still PA1 and PA6 as it seems, I just wasn't sure when I started looking whether they were the correct courses to start with. Stu: Yeah PA6AW is the one we need for the next site which starts in October as it has a stream running through the site, so I'll book that one.
  6. Much the same as my other thread really so sorry of I'm boring anyone with my question's I realise I should not use Pesticides and Herbicides on a commercial basis without training so I need to get on and sort this, pulling weeds is great when you look back but its back breaking when you know you can use a product to do a better job. What are the legal requirements and where should I start?? Marc
  7. Hi I live in Poole Dorset and I've been looking for courses to start in grounds maintenance but mainly lawn maintenance. I'm not entirely sure on what to search or look for and what courses will be relevant for working in the industry, so could anyone help with my search criteria Thanks in advance Marc
  8. Great site everyone, I'm looking forward to spending some time with you all, even if it's only cyber time....... Here's to learning more I'm Marc from Poole in Dorset
