Harvey; Sprotbrough so not too far away. The police thought it was likely that they had come across from the side of the pennines. Thanks for all the advise on alarms etc, much appreciated...going to go the whole hog and get motion activated cameras I think as well as the alarm system.

Hi all, Had the garage completely cleaned out of saws last night between midnight &5:30am in Doncaster. Notable saws to keep an eye out for; husky 257xpg & 353....the others were smaller saws such as ms170's/ 231's etc. Going to be fitting alarm system after this event.

Firstly, apologies for another of these threads, but may be of interest to some of you. Tim @ TCF engineering has just started making an 'off the shelf' brash cart, previously I know some of you have had them made to order off of him. We had one delivered a couple of weeks ago and its a solid piece of kit, have played with it on a couple of jobs and am happy with the purchase. Essentially it's £275+ vat, the uprights have 2 positions; wide & narrow, the handle assembly extends from the main body through 3 positions for bigger stuff and he's now offering it with pneumatic wheels or solid foam wheels...we got a set and they're just as good as the pneumatics. I've just seen your post about the work next week. I would be available for the whole week if you still need somebody. Im new to Abt Talk and am still figuring a few things out. I have about 5/6 years experience as a groundsman for my fathers business here in Doncaster-"south yorkshire tree services". I'm 25, hard working and have transport, however it's a car and I cannot tow.....If this is a deal breaker, then no problem. I have my own PPE, can bring saw/hedgecutter if needed.
