1.
Hi, a call to the GreenMech service team of Mac and Jason on 01789 400044 would resolve it! I'm pretty sure that the bottom anvil has a chamfer on each end and is effectively wedged into place.

2. I recently noticed a strange sound when running the chipper. On investigation we discovered that the horizontal anvil had broken and the blades were brushing against it. The anvil can be taken out from the side which is what we did but the other piece (below the flywheel shaft) will not budge. Is it held in place or should it simply slide out?
3. Thanks for the helpful info Steve and many thanks to PeteB who spent plenty of time talking about it and answering my questions on the phone yesterday. A great help and much appreciated.
4. Thanks, I agree with you there. I'm just investigating this model to see if it is worth going to have a look at it. It's similar to the 16-23 in size but with the advantage of having the same ground clearance as the 19-28. This is what makes it seem like a versatile machine.
5. I would if I could but they don't make them anymore and this one is a few hundred miles away.
6. Just wondering if anyone has any info or experience of the safe-trak 150? I'm looking at possibly buying one at the moment but can find little or no info about these. Just wondering if they are any good, I know the infeed is 150x150mm and that it has just 2 disc blades on the same side of the fly-wheel. Do they have enough power and do they pull the brash through well? Any info would be much appreciated
