Our client is busy local authority tree section in Oxfordshire who are responsible for more than 60,000 trees. They are looking for a qualified Groundsman or Arborist to join their Arboricultural section . You should have a certificate for aerial rescue and a driving licence as a minimum and ideally some working experience within the industry. Extra chainsaw certificates are an advantage.
An hourly rate of £11.28 is offered. The position will initially be employed on a temporary basis but the position may transfer to permanent for the right candidate. Benefits include a 37-hour week and 28 days leave .

Opportunity for a qualified climbing Arborist to work for a Borough Council in Berkshire.
Candidates should have CS certificates to include Aerial use of the Chainsaw and ideally a driving license.
The post is on a temporary to permanent basis for the right candidate. A PAYE rate of £12.64 for a second climber and up to £13.95/hour for a Lead Climber is offered.

Our client is a specialist machinery sales and hire company operating in the Arboricultural and Groundcare industries.
They are looking for someone to help sell the leading brands of arb machinery – Timberwolf chippers, FSI stump grinders and Balfor firewood machinery either in the Yorkshire area .Applications from arb industry professionals who would like to move into sales are invited. You’d need to demonstrate excellent customer facing communication skills, great organisation and the attention to detail required to become an exceptional sales person.
In return on offer is a good basic salary of circa £23 and £27k, a fully expensed pick-up truck and a generous, uncapped, transparent commission which means the more you sell, the more you earn. Commission should be £12k to £18k depending on performance. So on-target earnings £35k to £45k You can also expect to work with a company that understands and delivers exceptional backup to its customers.
You will report directly to the Sales Director, working from a combination of your home office and the local depot in Leeds. You will be responsible for planning your own time to make sure you hit your sales targets. It can take a little while to get established on a patch but a minimum Commission of £500 / month will be paid for the first 3 months

Our client is one of the leading arboricultural equipment and machinery supplier in the UK. From their facility in Staffs they sell direct or by mail order to a wide range of clients from local authorities and large companies to small contractors.
Due to a member of staff leaving they now require a Technical Sales Representative to sell and provide guidance on the Arb department's products. Your objective will be to grow sales of Arborist equipment and to advise customers on equipment and demonstrate it . You will also be involved in introducing new products to the range and expanding the customer base . The successful candidate will also need to help with Trade shows
Candidates must be competent climbers with a detailed and up to date knowledge of all equipment and arboricultural operations. You must have an interest in the latest techniques and practices too. This would suit an Arborist who is now looking to keep their feet on the ground. The salary on offer is circa £10/hour.
