  6. Has anyone got any experience or verdicts on a Timberwolf TW18/100G Gravity Fed 4 inch Chipper? Or a bearcat 5" ? Are they to much work in use ? Chipper wouldnt have to be large but needs to be towed,and chipper wont be used that much depending on amount of work i could get,just starting out, majority of main logs i can cross cut and keep, or get rid of, Or do i pay extra and try and get a timberwolf 125 with roller, comments appriciated.

Hi Neil howz u? got my self booked on a cs30/31 in 2 weeks mate have you any tips ? i tried to phone u the other day but it rang out ,that pulley saver i bought was made by central services the main line has had its inner removed and replaced with something called DYNEEMA? apparently its light and very strong used in the sailing industry im told,great piece of kit, iv been practising my climbing as best i can so hope to get my 38/39 in this year if you have any tips or info for me ide appreciate it cheers .Colin....

  11. Thanks for all your positive criticism, But..... People should never judge a book by its cover !!!!!! Anyone wishing to start there own buisness up in what ever they choose , in todays current climate speaks determination in my eyes , There are millions out there who choose to kick back and sign on,and be handed it to them on a plate,and then there are others who will graft for a decent living so hats off to them and respect.......
  12. What would be the cost roughly of insurance on a chipper ? looking at timberwolf 125ph ? just for rough figures.. Also what type of insurance is required to start in this industry and how much only looking at small scale buisness...thanks

  14. Thanks for the quick replies appriciate them, some have said change to a mailon but the screw gate dosnt open wide enough to pass the small ring on the friction saver through?
  15. Hi all to save money on buying a Teufelberger Pulleysaver which cost a fortune but are slick,could i use the 1 ive made from my own kit? would it work? What are the pros and cons of it, The over hand knott would substitute the retriever ball. Could i make it better?..cheers Colin

Hi everyone this question must have already been asked a thousand times, Im looking at getting a top handle chainsaw, which one do i go for and why . this saw will not be used that much untill more work comes in ive already got a sthil saw MS290 so know ther reliability but which top handle do i go for ?...cheers

    Rope knick

    Hi everyone as im new to this site just wanted your oppinions on this little nik ide found in my rope,seems to be on the outer sheath wondering if it will get bigger under load ? I noticed it to day as i was checking it from using it yesterday, is this nothing to worrie about am i beeing over vigulant .
  20. Hi all today i bought a ring to fit on my bridge,the standard petzl one was to small so went for the tree motion one which is a little bigger,i havnt fitted it as yet. Firstly is there any benefit if i put it on? or should i leave the standard bridge? secondly if i undo the screws on the bridge rings do i have to lock tight the screws back up on the rings ,or just hand tighten them ? cheers
