  2. thanks guys I"ll go for the clean up an comp test or at least take it all apart c:001_huh:lean it nice big box of bits just like the 660 but 40"syc with 550 an a 15bar was a bit touch an go wheres the wind when you need it
  3. hi gurus iii"ve got an o44 used for first time today started fine gobbed the tree then stopped wouldn't start until wd40 into pot seems to get very hot (smokey plastic) dry plug then starts again when cool.Just wondering if this is common ...easy fix cheers
  4. hi i"ve got that machine seems great to me but then never had any thing else but guys at justsaws are really helpfull over the phone.Only thing i will say is round butts are pretty easy to get on but if you have to rip down biger bits they can be a bit of a pig gonna try a bit of red neck enginneering with bar an a highlift jack or if you"ve got forklift happy days its easy does what it says on the tin

    mixed borderline old havent really thought but 660 would still be 50/1.If it was seized would i still be able to start it its like the decomp isnt working

    i lent my son a 660 got the phone call 2 hrs later dad it won"t start so i collected and it was very hard to pull over then it freed and started sorted!!! Not went to use it today started cut but cuts out as soon as you release but ticks over when started only after revving it then just stops.After 5 go"s went stiff again anybody pls
  9. just thought i"d share some photos of my first job for the mill.60odd boards produced for customer reckon mil was running for about 2hrs....not counting the 5hrs trimming the butt getting first 1/4 on mill blood sweat an a broken weld. Went an got alasken day 2 smaller is better but all things aside probably best 2 days graft i"ve had.gonna go and rig some sort of lifting device. Pictures by canoeboy1 - Photobucket

  12. hi all i"ve just purchased a hudson 30 ive had a go with previous owner all fine.Then i find this forum and 1/4 sawing comes up is it possible to do it with this sort of mill ? and what are the advantages any thing greatfuuly recieved
