1.
Hi David - can you mail me please at [email protected] - Im interested in your spliter regards

2. Hey sorry everyone i been of line for a while, i didnt think there would be as much interest in it thanks. The ram that i used is off a shear grab and the blade faces are actually the edges for a shear grab a as well i live beside Flemming agri so i was able to get them pretty easily. But ive started building a mark II model with two rams in a push/pull configeration then there should be the exact same force/speed in both directions. If anyone is genuinely intersted i could sell this one if someone wanted it?
3. lol i didnt think my way would just be just legal, it is a bit dangerous like if ye were day dreaming!!! Not to sure wot to i just don think il have time to make them to many tits to pull:lol: But surley not a problem any time at all, im about ten minutes from the big city lights of Ballykelly!!!
4. Hey, that wee setup was another modification ive made since i started. The spool valve has a detent so it stays on in both directions so when the ram go's in/out full it kicks the spool into neutral.
5. Na im near sure theres no gear drive in it, its just as sproket as normal i think. It has a type no1106 if this means anything to you?
6. Right!!!!!! An there was me thinkin o trading it in for 560xp!!!! Aw it is stand clear it shakes you to the bone!!! Thanks for the help i could o let it go for a couple o ££'s!!
7. Aye it says (lightning) on the on the top cover so you could be on the money there!!! ''lucky'' ye wanna be sent to do a day on it!!! Im new here wots HAVS?
8. Dos any one know wot this is or wot age it might be? My dad bought it second hand in the mid 60's but never used it!! A few weeks back i took it down of the self gave it a good clean, a new spark plug a good few pulls away it went! Its a complete animal to work with tho!!!
9. Finally got it all sorted out, workin a treat now i just need some more good wood!

11. am well so far just doin a rough count i think its costing me about £500 for so far but im still modifing it at the im puttin grates on each side and bagging of shutes atm its a work in progress:laugh1: but there has been a couple o local people on to me about one but i don really want to make them and put them out there till i have it completly sorted, but il keep ya posted!!
12. hey im just new to this, i built a log splitter roughly based on a tempest. Its built on 3pt linkage the ram is a 150mm cylinder with 300mm stroke its maybe a bit shy but this lenght of log works well in my stove. for the splitting edges i used the hardened edges of the side edges for sheer grab, so far im more happy with it!!! as soon as i find my lead here il get the pics up!!!!
