  1. We are a family run small holding with a range of permaculture, bio-intensive, poly tunnel and pasture farming areas. With a young woodland, hedgerows and food forest hosting a yurt camp. Most materials from tree work are welcome here. Softwood and mixed chip for paths and fermented composts. Hardwood chips for mulches and mushroom cultivation. Logs for fire wood and mushrooms. Stumps for heat sinks and hugelcultures. Come bury us in chip! Access: The map pin is for the main carpark (not the driveway for the house). Postcode doesn't work, Kents of Cornwall on Google maps. When dry, tipping site will be on the field through the metal (right-hand) gate.... There might be sheep about. When wet, there will be space in the carpark on hard standing. Access for up to 7.5tonne vehicles. In exchange we offer chicken/duck/goose(not for the fainthearted) eggs, seasonal veggies/fruit, homemade CIDER...
  2. Hi, currently based in Catford and looking for work on the ground anywhere around south london. I have 2-3 years experience in arb & forestry. No nptc's but plenty of time on the tools. Full 'b' driving license. CSCS. CIEH Health & Safety. Emergency 1st Aid. Contact me on 07738831833. Cheers, Tom.
  3. This guy was at a show I went to on Friday. Blew me away. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXRSpn_hxdY&feature=related]Old Kerry McKee - Death, Oh Death - YouTube[/ame]
  4. He turned up for one site induction, got asked to show his card and explained the situation, showed the foreman the printout saying he'd passed which had the application number and after some persuasion went on the website to check but it didn't come up on their system. some glitch in the application. A couple of others just flat out refused to chase it up as it was too much hassle when there were lads with cards queuing up. CSCS just said these thing happen, barely an apology with it.
  5. Me and a friend took the exam back in August, only just got our cards through. Caused him to lose a few potentially good jobs.

Super easy, just plug in and go. My mates generally use imovie and get nice results, but if you want to go all out there is plenty of usable downloads of Final Cut pro. Taupo, we use them for everything, small enough to fit in the palm of your hand and nicely in a pocket for being out and about. Obviously no nice handle on there but as it's so small it doesn't really matter. The new one they've just brought out looks great.
  7. thanks buh, I appreciate it.

  8. ok mate, i'll hold the days till tomorrow, so if you can let me know as soon as you know.

  9. I don't have any chainsaw gear, just general outdoor work stuff and steel toes. Really flexible time-wise at the moment. Steve - PM sent
  10. Hey Steve thanks for the response.

I can make it to Stowmarket, only thing is I'm waiting on temp job which will be starting next week. But will be finding out if that is happening tomorrow, so can let you know.

  11. I'm looking at getting into arb and thought it best to get a little time on the job before I shell out on tickets and start putting the feelers out for work. Like I said I've not got any tickets and only a little experience working in coppice woodland for Suffolk Wildlife Trust. But I'm not afraid to get stuck in, and am happy to do so for free. Based in Long Melford, Suffolk, but can travel a little way.
  12. Thanks. Yeah might have a hard time convincing them to fund me. Same, I've spent ages looking, emailing and on the phone but seems to be nothing i my area.
  13. Where did you get your grant from?
