Time to upgrade 14 x Halogen cab lights and 4 x Halogen Crane/Head lights to LED.
I rang John Deere who were keen to sell me 18 x unspecified lumens output JD "approved" work lamps @ £235/ea
Rang Clarkes who very honourably suggested by the time I'd bought 14 x £135 570 Lumens output lamps, LED technology would have moved on and I'd be out of date in light output!
Spoke to Sparex; 1150 lumens @ £18/ea so bang for buck appears to be improving dramatically.
Now ebay - thousands of the things for sale; all wonderful prices!
Any advice?!
Cheers!
at apf there was someone selling very powerful lights i think the company was called 4w the lights were amazing but expensive. non glare technology. maybe someone here has contact details

I'm struggling to understand the meaning of "tasty" in this post

lad fell in love with it so its gone to retire on a vintage Major!... the old 3000 has a 6 ft finishing mower living on it now. hilux is currently strangled with a cherrypicker on it , aluminium high sides spewing leylandi... thinking of greenmech chipper next. i like the cs100. seen it working at apf and have a hankering for one! I used an 880 a few weeks back. thats an experience!!

no wonder the snapper was lost! you ever sell your chipper?

done atv work, unless you have perfect conditions youll need trailer drive. Id be looking at an alstor faster than quad and trailer. if it works for you keep us informed here. maybe look at the logic trailer, it was the best ive seen in non hydraulic trailers like vahva jussi even avestawagen.

cant beat experience! theres one in killarney, 3 hours eachway to see it. I think Ill be saving the diesel.... it would probably work with the multi blade thing but it would be getting very dear

has anyone experience in this or similar on a compact tractor??? Ive watched youtube videos of them in action and Im not massively impressed. how would you rate them against a stihl 81r or similar? I like the idea of holding the height perfect but the finish seems to be poor

Utility is rarely tasty here.... though the boss does private jobs and is extremely tasty. its a pleasure to see the tasty side of the job... I do utility to build experience

invest in lead, the airborne type. be careful, possibly get your gear hidden, most of our vans read like a scumbags shopping list

Finally got the roller mower. Effective and noticable striping is only acheivable in moss free lawns!!
