  1. Hi, The owners' manual states on p.47 under the section sub-headed chain sprocket that the max chain speed of the MS261 is 25.6m/s, but lordy only knows how they caluculated that as it's different to all the other calculations on this post's thread.
  2. Looking for a couple of days help next week (14th & 15th June) near Dunfermline. Call Ben on 07960 33 33 19 if you're interested.
  3. If you're looking for rollers and struggling to find any most boat chandlers carry them for boat trailers; these should do the job if you can't find purpose built ones. It should be obvious but they're made for rolling boats on and off trailers, so that means that they should be able to bear a considerable load (lightest yatchs weigh around 3/4 ton), but arn't necessarliy designed for constant use in clarty conditions.
  4. Hi, I'm based in West Fife and I have a customer who is a butcher and regularly takes wood for smoking meats various. He is keen for me to supply him with gean or other fruit tree wood such as apple or pear. If you have wood of this nature from thinnings or such like I would be most interested to discuss this with you. Thanks, Ben

  6. I'm sure you've sorted something out by now, but if you're still looking I have a mobile Palax combi 600 M firewood processor for hire. Rates start at £200 + VAT per day including an operator.
