  1. I've got the hb20. I've got in to every job so far and so much power for the width. Awesome
  2. Cheers for the advise, holds more than my last transit and loads of storage.
  3. Haha, yup! Park your boats up!
  4. Anyone want any free softwood near Wareham. Best if one person took the lot. Cheers
  5. Thanks, I think it's Phellinus pini. It's a mature Monterey. It's bleeding from what appears to be an old split in the main stem that doesn't go all the way through. There was 4 or 5 of these small brackets in the crown of the tree. I would've thought they have come about due to the tree being stressed but I'm not sure how detrimental to the trees health they both are. There is a property next to the tree.
  6. Hi guys, Wandered if anyone can identify this fungi....
  7. What mm thickness are the sheets?
  8. Norush, do you have any pics? Cheers
  9. Joel77, that's the sort of thing i'm going for. Gonna leave the old steal sides on though so will be a foot or so higher. What have you done at the back
  10. I've got a transit tipper single cab. I'm going to make a separate lock up bolted to chassis by cab. I'm trying to keep the weight down. Is there any need for barn doors? I think tail gate would be ok but thoughts appreciated. Would 2mm steel sheets be thick enough to stand the test of time and stray lumps of wood. I plan to crease the edges but trying to keep steel boxing down. What do people think? Cheers
  11. Cheers, single cab and lock up it is.
  12. Looking at a new transit tipper or iveco daily tipper. It will tow a tw150. What are people's thoughts on cab space v extra weight?
  13. Looking for some interesting milled timber for 5 window sills in my new extension in Dorset area. Cheers
  14. I'm in the process of felling an avenue of 32, 80 foot Monterey pines. Anyone interested in the wood? Wareham, Dorset.
  15. The trees are tpo'd so no felling and I've told him it would be an annual event which he's ok about. They look fairly well maintained in regards to the dead wood. One of those jobs that I'm really not looking forward to!!
  16. Customer has just moved into a new property and won't let his kids in the garden because a big one came down. I agree, a right pain to climb. I was thinking hooky poles and maybe lopper on poles for flimsy thinner branches. Luckily nothing underneath!
  17. Hi what are peoples preferred methods of de-coning pines? No access of a mewp.
  18. Yeah, all split and seasoned for minimum of a year. All wood is from my own tree work and going out at a steady pace now ;-)
  19. My first season doing logs. I'm trying to cover all bases, sacks (20 logs), half load 1.5 cube or full load 3 cube
