  1. Hey Jaime, Yeah I created the site, it has taken me forever to build and film the videos and I have so many more I want to do its just getting the time. Thanks for taking a look. Also, how did you come across it in the first place??
  2. Hey guys, To answer all the questions about the prussik setup, I originally setup the system (as some people have suggested) with a piece of cord, but as I used it a couple of times realised I need something i could just clip in and clip out quickly to save any time when changing points etc, so bought the Tibloc as it was the cheapest and most simple piece of kit that would stay put on the rope (I had never used 1 before and never have used it as an ascender). Its only purpose is to hold the pulley in the same place, there is never any tension on it, and I can never imagine there would be. Although I'm sure a tiny rope grab or ascender that can be taken on and off with ease is the best option. Didn't know the little Tibloc would cause so much controversy haha, Thanks for all you comments
  3. Thanks for watching, We couldn't just fell the tree as it was an expensive complex we were working within and it was communal lawn which was well kept, so it was priced to be dismantled for very minimal damage to vegetation and property which is what the clients wanted. Otherwise i'd have been all over felling the beast!! Thanks
  4. It took me a while to think up but is very simple once you see it. I came up with it because I'm not a fan of have a distil/v.t & pulley set up, I like to pull with both arms from above and not have to hold my weight while I feed through the slack and love the prussik but also the pulley idea, so this is best of both worlds. Check this video, I explain it and show how to set it up. Cheers for your comments guys
  5. Hey guys, This is a video filmed mainly from my helmet cam of a large Fir tree removal on a steep bank. It was just me and 1 groundsman so decided to rig it down using a speed line to save the groundsman climbing up the bank to retrieve each branch and to knock off a few extra feet from dragging those big heavy fir limbs. Location : Vancouver, Canada
