Hi Steve. We have nearly £80 from the collection tin and some lovely messages in the condolences book. Most guys do not like writing a message though so I am going to print out some pics of him at work and fill the book with those and then give it to Nicola. We will sort the tree at the end of the summer. If you or anyone else wants to donate or sign the book let me know and we'll hook up somehow. Also if you have any good pics of Dave please email me. For those who want to donate to the memorial tree collection for Dave, to be planted in the autumn in his memory, I will be at the Arb show on the DART stand today and tomorrow and have a collection box and a book of condolences for his family. Please pop by and see me. I so feel for his wife but hope that this gesture from the Arb community will offer some comfort. Jenny

With the consent of Dave's wife, we will be doing a collection at the Arb show for a memorial tree for Dave Shephard, who tragically passed away 2 weeks ago. I will be on the DART stand at the Arb show on Friday and Saturday and there will be a collection box and a book of condolences, so please come along if you wish to donate or leave the family a message. The tree will be planted in the autumn somewhere special to the family. Jenny Long

This is Matt's wife - I will be on the DART (Disaster Arborist Relief Team) stand for 2 days at then Arb show, we could put a donation pot out and raise some money for a tree for Dave - I think planting one in his memory would be a lovely thing to do for his family from the Arb community. Just wondered who your insured with and if you are 3rd party or fully comp, I have tried the nfu and they won't look at it. U1200 I am going to try trust, Bartlett seem expensive Many thanks

I have a new ifor Williams 8x4 tipper, I think it is the worst piece of kit I have purchased, I have spent an extra £500 getting it fit for purpose and have had some of the worst customer service from them, my advise is buy an older second hand ifor as I have had no trouble with the older designs or go else where
