Same here last week. And thought exactly the same surly that’s going to upset them unless there only selling at full retail so the dealer should hopefully be a bit cheaper and maybe get more traffic though there doors

Couple of times ive showed up at jobs to ground or climb or just drag and chip to find im using someone elses crap kit.
Lesson learned
Bring all my own kit to jobs now but as said before my price would reflect that.
I do hourly rate rather than day rate as i find people grumble at giving you 130 quid for 4 hours work-even if you do bust your balls

Yep Aberdeen will be highlands but only another £3 or so postage..

I use my own saws and fuel but will take anything from tripod ladders to trailer stump grinder tracked Chipper or compact tractor and tipper but price reflects what I take

Has yours got the high lift blades on it? If not give those a try, it'll make a huge difference to the collection.

Has anyone used a Toro? I had a little mulching ride on when I first started out which although it didn't feel all that solid, just refused to give up. The one I'm looking at is a 22157 Proline.

As said above just weld on nuts then break bar them off. Put plenty of copper slip on when you refit them and it will make a difference next time. I've got mine in for sharpening so will be doing the same in a week
