According to spectrum you need to fit a 6mm spacer when changing from old motor to new. they have spacer in stock but not motor, c'est la vie
Excellent will have to have a spy for a secondhand motor then [emoji106] -
That's the old squarer motor IIRC, yours has a newer style one on the top.
Your on the money mr as usual [emoji106] not sure if the newer one will fit but imagine it will if the top motor has been changed -
Hi just wondering if anyone has a spare bottom infeed motor that would fit a 2003 machine as think mine has shit itself 🤦🏻♂️

Decent ground anchor and chain them together or a decent metal cabinet

Some of the online personalities I follow suspect fowl play.. been a couple of churches burned down of late in France as well as other desecration's.. if I'm not mistaken the area around Notre Dame has a heavy Muslim presence...
I'll await the the results of any investigation before I pass judgement mind....
I’ve heard that said tonight as well but can’t see any truth in it as it would be plastered all over the net with whoever taking responsibility for it. These things happen it doesn’t take much to start a fire with all the building work going on. Could just ya rouge spark from grinding or the plumbers torch its been known before -
cool thanks for all the replies, i will check out those forums, although as i suspected there is a fair bit of knowledge on here, really exited about the project as have been waiting a good while for it to come together.
i hope it wont need to much work, but id say as i start to poke about it will escalate,
watched enough grand designs to realize that i am not going to put a time frame on it or a budget!!
we will be in by christmas...just not sure which one!
thanks carl
I would seriously think about a budget as we did the same as what your thinking and it’s nearly crippled me and the house is still not finished. Hence why I’m going offshore next month to earn good money and carry on with the trees in the time I’m home-

Sure you’ll be fine just make sure you take your hi lifts and a tirfor ect unless you know there being provided. As I was the only one with them when I did my course ??♂️

Sad to see this sort of thing.
Saying that, if it wasn’t the other end of the country I’d have a few bids at work benches/racking etc, some decent lots there.
Don’t forget to add 18% commission then 20% vat then the cost of collecting from Tavistock before getting too excited about any perceived bargains...
That doesn’t make it look like a cheap deal when you add on another 38% [emoji44] it’s the same up here when you go to a sale people get caught up in the bidding and pay silly money for things. Trailers are making nearly new prices -
Speak to garden kit he certainly knows his stuff on the yellow machines

I think someone told me you can use 3 way crabs for irata but screw gates are cheaper. What will you be doing on the ropes? Good luck with the course.
Cheers [emoji106] just helping out on a diving job so hopefully get a few trips out of it and fill the diary up when it’s quiet -
Yeah I've done level 1 it's fairly simple, I had to keep reminding myself to screw the carabiners shut (too used to 3 way ones) . Yeah big difference between doing the course inside a nice dry clean building and the real world out on site! Where you doing it?
Start Monday hopefully the course is at survivex then got the offshore survival the following week and hopefully away early/mid April. Seems strange how you use screw gates but the ASAP is a 3 way crab[emoji848] -
Cheers that was my general thinking as it’s just the entry course. Got a funny feeling the learning will start as I’m swinging from the side of an oil rig[emoji23]
-
Not sure on the best section to post this in. Has anyone done there level 1 and got any good helpful advice? I’m potentially starting the course on Monday I’ve done the usual and watched YouTube. But always better to speak to people who have actually done the course. Cheers

perfect and just the right size.
It’s certainly been a good help just needs a weight block on the back as the grab has been made heavy but still lifts a good weight. Just need to take the loader off and put on the snow blade and gritter on next week so earns its keep all year round-

Left school at 16 and cleaned Petrol stations and window cleaning for a year Then joined the army as a royal engineer. Did my 7 month basic training then my combat engineering then moved onto my trade training at Chatham. Joined my regiment and got trained in bomb disposal went to cypress and Kosovo then got caught on my bike with no license so got grassed in by an officer so decided to leave. Moved back home to Aberdeen as had bought a house and worked as a self employed joiner till the recession hit and re trained and got my cs30/31 and spent a fortune on tools ever since

We did a pair of sycamore removals a year or two back, between the garden we were in there was a lane and then the neighbour's garden back of a large terraced house. In neighbours garden I could see astroturfed golf hole surrounded by plastic grass, cue wind and rain in the right direction. I asked lad I was working for do you want me to stop, answer NO from him and customer. Result was plastic turf man spending 2 days hoovering his lawn.
I tried not to smile too much, you may have guessed i hate platic grass
Was even funnier when we went back to finish it off the job and the same happened again [emoji50] -
But you have a 550, you trying to catch up on my saw count
But I might need a spare [emoji50][emoji23] -
Why replace 346, send to spud for rebuilt/pimping or is it completely u/s.
If you like the 346 I may have one for sale
Oh you kept that very quiet [emoji50] could well be tempted -
Look up the rail timetable, study well and crack on in the gaps.
.
Obviously wont show times for goods trains
