  1. I don't even know where Fife is, honest!!
  2. I did. I take it you were referring to the flaming rule. What I wrote was a reply to what could definatley be classed a flaming. Hey-ho life goes on:001_smile:
  3. Hahaha,heres a big lump And a log
  4. So why was my last post deleted? It wasn't offensive I was just replying to a post that was aimed at me and was far from factual.
  5. Ok if ya want some pics heres a few, So maybe I don't just do small farty little tree's and hedges.
  6. Not really, was about as exciting as a conny hedge reduction
  7. Congratulations, you felled a tree.
  8. No a good freelancer would see if things could be moved around to help a chap out. Sometimes Mrs Miggins doesn't need her tree felled tomorrow, she doesn't know this but she can be convinced;)
  9. It's called knowing and having a working relationship with those in your area but arbs are a strange breed:001_smile:
  10. Yep, may involve some cash changing hands but I know alot of people in my area and have got others outta the mire before . It's a very small industry and pays to know your area.
  11. Fairly simple, ring every climber I know in the area that is capable of doing the job, call in a favour or 2 and get the job done. The last thing I would do is get an unknown climber in, just too risky. This is how everyone I know would do it, no need for an agency in this buisness. All tree company owners know freelancers in their area and who is good and who is not.
  12. I don't but it is a scenario, it could happen to someone. Lets face it some tree company owners arn't the most organized people and can get out of thier depth. If the scenario happened to you that the climber wasn't able to work how would you go about sorting it out? I know how I would.
