Hi Geoff.

Thought I'd let you know I took your advice and ran my sick Echo CS350WES over to Spud and as usual he fixed it!

Been using over the weekend on a load of dead elm for next years firewood and it was a joy to use.

Thanks for the tip mate

Hi westwood. Saw your post re the ash ringed up.

Im in north Essex near Stansted airport and will be looking for decent timber for next winter. What kind of cost would it be to get a load to me. Also how much is in a container (i mean how big is a container). Cheers, Jez.

Wow, got some nice bikes there!

That new V-strom has the old Suzuki TL 1000 engine. That was a stonking torque monster :-)

Mate of mine also has one of the new V-stroms but had a minor glitch on the low speed fueling, the engine revs tried to die and stall on a closed throttle.

Went back to Suzuki a couple of times and a week or so Suzuki put a new ECU on it. He said it's fantastic now and Suzuki are rolling out new ECU's for any effected bikes.

Be safe and stay shiny side up mate.

Hi Geoff.

Have Pm Spud and he's given me a few more thing to check on my little Echo and cost to service it. It may not be worth spending loads on it as just brought a Dolmar 420 from 'Shavey' as a replacement, though I do like the CS -350!

Yes still riding bikes, did 3500 miles across Europe in 3 weeks this year, as present to myself for reaching the ripe old age of 50;-).

Mind you my old bones don't like spending 8 hours a day in the saddle anymore ha ha.

Still have my BMW R1200GSA which is a big old girl !!!!

What you riding now Geoff? Didn't you buy a Harley ?

Jez

Sorry to bother you Geoff but I've seen from your posts that you are a bit of an Echo saw fan. From memory you did a bit of work for me several years ago and I think you are from near this neck of the woods. I'm in Felsted Essex.

Could you point me in the direction or recommend someone in this area to service my sick chainsaw a Echo CS-350WES. I'm normally good with small engines but been trying for days a have to admit defeat. So time to give it to a pro.

Many thanks.

Shavey.

Been referred to you as I posted a thread in the chainsaw forum re a husky 135 or Dolmar 420. Everyone seems to think the 420 is the way to go and I should get a price from you!
