  3. Hi Owen,

Thats good news mate. I have just been down to Rory's today to take down an oak in his neighbours garden. I am steadily picking up work - its out their, just gotta find it and keep your prices down whilst you have two wages coming in!!

    Keep in touch mate,

  4. continued...Please dont see this as a request for you to show me, I no your time is precious and I am usually only at home on the weekends(now working in Kent) - I suppose I just want an experienced opinion as to whether i would be pi**ing in the wind!

Just a little bit impatient at the minute!

  5. Hi Peter,

How's it going? Long time no hear!

I hope business is going well and you are not working too hard!

Not sure if I have spoken since I went on course, but I have now completed my CS30+31. Maybe facing redundancy in the near future, so will be looking to do my climbing etc sometime in the near future.

Call me cheeky , but I know that you are top notch at the climbing and I am after some advice. I want to start learning about rigging, knots, different techniques, etc. I know I will learn this on the course, but until they make up their minds what is happening with me, I am stuck in limbo. I have just moved to a new house in Little Downham (a couple of houses down from the job you and I did!) which has a reasonable Chestnut in the garden. I was thinking of getting hold of some secondhand kit and trying out some of the techniques in the book (all be it at very low level!). Do you reckon this is advisable - or a recipe for disaster!
