Hello, Just found this forum and it looks great. really interesting read of the various threads. We are Courage Copse Creatives (http://www.couragecopse.co.uk) in North Devon and use horses for a lot of the extraction. We also partner up with Rowan Working Horses (Rowan Working Horses - Welcome) to run a few weekend course s here. The next one is 27th & 28th Sept details on the website. Hi All, Just started on this forum loads of great topics running here. I'm a part timer in the woods, and have or will have some first thinnings (circa 20yrs) to sell over the coming year and wondered if any one can enlighten me to the sort of rates I should expect for Douglas and Jap Larch at roadside? I have had someone mention a buyer that will pay £25 per ton delivered. Any thoughts welcomed. Kam
