  1. here you go ....

    Dear Warren

Please see the information below regarding the need for Gardeners / Trees surgeons to register as a waste carrier.

A customer will need to register as a waste carrier and dealer in the upper tier if:

    they are carrying out construction or demolition work and carry the waste produced eg. fencing, paving, soil;

A customer will not need to register as a waste carrier if:

they carry trimmings, green wastes etc. which they have produced as part of their work. We trust this information answers your query.

If you have any further questions please let us know by telephone on 08708 506506 or by email to [email protected] and we will be happy to help.

    Kind Regards

  2. well 18-stoner may help with paperwork... but the EA lady read it from a script .. still wasn't very clear - so i asked directly and she basically said - (as stated by likeitorlumpit). if YOU produce it - and it's green (clipping/grass/virgin wood) - no licence required.

i'll try an get one and scan it..

  3. i know it's an old thread - but i phoned the Environment Agency today and the lady told me that as a tree surgeon or 'soft' landscaper gardener (ie producer of green waste) you DO NOT need a waste carrier licence.

  4. Hi

Am looking for weekend work if you have any.

I'm based in Maidstone, Kent. Have own transport / tools and a clean pre 97 licence.

Only have CS30 / 31 at the moment (intending to do 38/39 when funds allow).

Am first responder trained (but cert has lapsed).

Happy to drag brash and clear up.

  5. Nice to hear that. i don't have an aerial rescue ticket but havng been a climbing instructor for a good few years i know my way around the ropes.

Apparently no use without the ticket....

.. as i can't edit this .. this new post will say ... however i will get the tickets because it shows you've been accessed to the same standard as others which can be trusted.

(hopefully dug myself out of any unintentional holes)

  6. However I do wonder how much more useful some "qualified climbers" would be over joe bloggs brash dragger who's got a good head on their shoulders.
