  1. Top Job and good to see the pictures Kim and Rob!! In response to Q's sadly 3 children died in a house fire and one through disabilty and the other two not too sure. I'll make it my aim to find out though as we look after the Grounds at the school. Looking forward to seeing what you can do with the next Job I've got lined up for you folks on the 21st!! Watch this space!!!
  2. Hi All We had a fantastic abstract sculpture done today by Kim and Rob (regulars on here). Can't sing thier praises enough. The customer was over the moon with the finised product. It was done in a memorial area to a teacher that had passed away. A beautiful tribute I'm sure you'll agree.
  3. Im not a regular on the site but I'm hoping someone might know where there is a 19-28 safetrak for sale. Low hours, excellent condition, cheap as chips!! Nowt on ebay, nowt on earborist and nowt on the greenmech website! Are they all in hibernation or just overworked and sitting on a beach in the algarve? Can't find one anywhere!!!!
  4. Think my minds made up and going to go for the gm 1928. The one we've had all week has been excellent, only fault i can find is it doesnt like the ballast on the railways, looks like it would benefit from a small plate over the teeth near the drive cogs? I'm looking at a couple this weekend. Massive thanks to everyone for their input. If there's any network rail PTS certified staff out there get in touch as we might need a hand in the coming months. Thanks to Pete at Greenmech for letting me pick his brains, sure there'll be more q's to follow!! Cheers again Paul
  5. Cheers Pal, I've sent him a message. I'll let you know what comes of it. I'm just a bit wary of the green machine from years gone by but apparentley they're a much better machine now.
  6. Evening people. Not really a regular on here but looking for a bit of advice. I'm in the market for a new track chipper. I've been using the new greenmech 19-28 all week and its been a good bit of kit but I've always stuck with timberwolf. Anyone got much experience of a 190TVGTR? I'm looking at a few at the moment and the timberwolf is a canny bit more costly but is it that much of a better chipper? Whats it like off rd? Answers and suggestions on a postcard pls!! I've had a look at a couple but if anyone's selling one let me know too pls. Cheers Paul:confused1:

  9. hi I had a 190 issue a while back where one of the blades shattered and took a chunk out of one of the paddles on the flywheel. Prob done 150hrs since without any probs. Ditto that comment about pointing then in direction of arbtalk. My fix cost £1300 inc hire of replacement chipper. 6k's a joke!

  14. Hi People. Got to work on Thursday to find some dirty horrible thieving person had relieved me of my wagon. The reg is S956 KHN. The hiab was slightly bent on the resting arm when folded up. It's missing a mudflap from driver side rear and the one on the passenger side had chevrons. Its red with ally sides that slot in and out. Definately a one of a kind. If you see or get offered this vehicle please let me know the whereabouts and a description of the seller so I can hunt his lame arse down and set about his face with a 5lb lump hammer. Seriously. I can be contacted on 07882995429. It is Red with a black chassis and got freshly painted about 12mths ago. Cheers Paul
