  1. i thought thats why it was generally sold in cu m in the first place?
  2. why do people have to jump to conclusions on these forums? i genuinely want to know what a wagon load is. because for £1000 that's a much better deal.
  3. what the hell is a 'wagon load?' an artic is about 27 cu m and costs me around 1250 delivered. whilst i can't get one immediately i should be able to by the end of the month. the cost of transport alone for the volume he's asking kills it to be honest.
  4. that thread is well over priced!!!! (as you mentioned!) £50 a cu m for that volume? jesus... i can only imagine what a load of that would cost to your average consumer after processing....
  5. i did say "i started my business this year" - so i wasn't really a firewood merchant! i'll have a look at the heads up thread, but like you said, i've been struggling.... cheers though
  6. ha! in wiltshire, but in all honesty given the situation i'm not sure its that important!
  7. Hi, I have recently run out of wood to split and am looking for an artic load or 3 of seasoned timber (or ash ). I know this might be unlikely, but can pay a decent amount in cash. If this isn't possible I would appreciate advice on the best way to get anything I can! I started my business this year and didn't want to over invest in wood - it turns out I did the opposite! thanks, Pete
