Haix are a nightmare to drive in when there new.
I still find my self riding the clutch now and again though. It's also a pain trying to reverse the chipper up a long steap drive with boots on too!!

4" for me or two anchor points if smaller depending on species.
The guy who works with me anchors into some really small stuff, he says as it bounces up and down it acts like a shock absorber.

Take a look at Jonsies site here. The Classic ones are the original type with the broad base available in Classic CP3 and Classic CP15 forms. Then there is the "new" one which is the Series 2000 CP3 and Series 2000 CP15
The tall skinny ones are the Series 2000
From what we were told they had intended to phase out the original (Classic) model but due to user feed back they ended up having to keep it and call it the Classic
aahhh..... yes its the cp 15 classic. The names of the newer versions confused me. Cheers
They should phase out the newer version for shaw IMO

for the sake of your back and overall sanity get yourself one of these. Not much in difference price wise to cooper peglers and a HELL of a lot more comfortable. If your going to be using it alot its well worth it. You can also get battery powerd versions to save your arms.
SOLD....Pading and no pumping required!!
Now that's improving things.
Thanks for the link

Are you talking about the CP3 2000 series - the tall thin based pump on top thingy. Cause I didn't realise there was any difference between a Classic CP3 and Classic CP15 appart from one being 20litre and the later being 15litre. So you'd be carrying an extra 5kg each time - that might be why your shoulders are hurting
If it is the CP3 Series 2000 one you are talking about they are a pain to keep upright, but again they are 20 litre sprayers so heavier.
Yeah It's the tall skinny one!! I've just looked at the cp15 on internet. That's tall and skinny too:confused1:
Dad's one is definately a cp 15 it must an older model as it's probably over 20 years old.

Redesigning something may include lowering manufacturing costs and build quality.
I've always found knapsacks to be getting worse as you bought newer ones. We've got some older than 5 years and have always been fine. Some new ones have broke within weeks.
I would'nt of minded if I had of paid peanuts for it, but it cost me over 100 quid. I thought at the time if I spend a fair bit its bound to be good. I wont make that mistake again!!

its meant to be but designers are not end users
More testing for the end user me thinks is required

That's one way of getting back on track!
...........I don't think it'll take off though:lol:

Sorry ...... bit of a rant here!!
I thought the whole point of redesigning something was to make it better.
To put it in short I've been using a cp15 napsack sprayer that I pinched off my dad years ago, its not the most comfortable sprayer but its ok.
I bought myself a cp3 the latest cooper peglar spayer, so I was told last year and never really got on with it and found myself using the older one.It bounces around the van because its a stupid shape and is a general pain in the......
It was meant to be ergonomically better than the older model.
I've just used it and my shoulders are killin and I'm well grumpy now!!!
My question is if you redesign something surely its meant to be better than the model it replaces???
Rant over

that happened near here about a month ago, someone cut about 8 mature roadside oaks as if to fell them on the road but left them standing, the trees belonged to weston park estate and had to be felled, really strange thing to do
thats a really weird thing to do!!...what's up with people!!
-
why did they saw half way through your tree?

Hey mate,
I was climbing on the new england its really good.....I had to get a second new kit for a lad who works with me I went for the yale spearmint.
I know you cant realy compare the 2 as the new england is 3 years old but I am well impressed with the yale its really smooth and with the vt its great so much so I've pinched the yale and given the new england to the lad who works with me:sneaky2:
I'd just toss a coin.
