  2. Hi All I'm in need of full time work I have NPTC CS30,31,38,39 and Chipper. I have recently passed my PTS and Track Induction so can work on the railway. I have plenty of experience on the ground and some climbing experience. I have experience driving tractors etc as from farming back ground. Have college qualifications aswell. I am willing to travel to get the work as have own transport. Have own ground saw and climbing saw. Also have basic climbing kit and all my ppe. Don't mind working late shifts or early starts. I'm from a little village called Carnwath which is near lanark. Don't mind traveling an hour to an hour and a half to get the work. I'm keen and willing to work just want the chance to prove myself.   3. Thanks for all the replies guy. I just had another chat with and got my price for pl and pa. They seem to be a nice enough bunch of people on the phone. Got a phone call from another company today and there attitude was stinking so I wasn't going with them. Thanks again Michael

The going rate up in Scotland for a self employed farm labourer is between £10-£15ph only get £15 if you have agri quals. if your on the farmers books you'll be lucky to get £9 if you have agri quals. but the going rate for farm workers is just under £7 self employed or not. thats what the government says so. The other halfs family are all farmers thats how i know. But if you do night shift lambing self employed you can get anything from £600 - £1200 all depends on size of farm and breed and pedigree or not. Hope thats helps

  23. I wouldnt mind relocating if the money was right and was guaranteed a full time job.
