Hi Rupert, sorry for delay replying, have been out of the game for some time now...

I sold my treespade to this company:

srhaylock.co.uk

They may still have it but I can't be sure.

Hope that helps

Regards, Chris.

how do you get on with deliveries to those places? do you have a minimum order to justify the travelling? I agree whole-heartedly with the Co-op idea, i guess the quality and consistency would need to be stringently regulated but I don't see why the idea shouldn't work, I would be up for joining for sure. Trouble is, how does one go about starting such a group?

Thanks for warning, this is exactly the type of advice i was hoping for, just a straightforward answer. Will see what the rest of the answers are like...

Hiya, that's freaky, only this evening I was looking through all my private messages and remembered about you!
yeah, was cutting willow today, mixed with conifer this year. looking for £80 a cube when it gets cold again. still cutting kindling for next season too.
when are we going to get some rain??? think hay is going to be short again this year, a goodly lot of mine has gone to seed already and only about knee height, and the lighter soils look like they've been sprayed off! bad news.
invitation for coffee and chat still stands when it suits.
