Your chain will be doing 26 m/s at 13.5k - so better get some class 3

There should be some small holes in the groove as in this image.
Check the bearing was installed the correct way in the block so that the groove lines up with the grease nipple hole.
Its quite possible the grease nipples will be facing opposite ways when installed on the machine.

Apples Vs Oranges
You need to use the same sprocket , bar and chain.
-
Unbolt block, undo grub screws, slide of shaft, remove bearing insert and clean.
-
You could drill the cap and put a water butt tap on it

How many times did you go down the line ?

Do you have a small spline or standard spline clutch drum ?
You can only get the 8 tooth 3/8 rim for the standard (560xp) clutch.

Seldom find user reviews or owners comments about this rather new saw, introduced a year ago.
I have seen the 543XP(G) available in various shops, and was initially very interested in acquiring this being the lightest saw with heated handles on the market.
Have also been looking at it's nearest competitor, the Stihl MS241, but not interested in the Picco chain at all. So reconfigure it for .325" bar and chain will add to the cost and weight approaching a more general 50cc saw, so my interest in a 43cc halted here. A 550XP(G) suddenly seems a much better choice for our needs.
Still a lighter saw is of a big interest to us, but it seems I have to look into the 35cc to 40cc class of saws, for a more practical difference in weight. I have to accept the 3/8" LP chains, like 91VXL. I also have to give up on heated handles for this smaller class of saws.
You don't have to accept them - use Stihl PS (Picco Super) - full chisel no bumpers.

508 91 41-DL is the bar number you require.
And 501 95 77-DL for the Replaceable Nose Sprocket.

Jam a couple of rails in and nailgun some feather edge.

I do believe that you have to re-sorn said vehicle every year.
Had a similar thing with a car absolutely no ley way what so ever.
So would presume it's the same for everything with a log book??? I do stand to be corrected tho
:-)

Are you standing ?
They have finally seen sense and anything now declared as SORN is until you tax it or scrap it.

Exhaust , then gasket , then heat shield , then cylinder.

Telehandler will be quicker than climbing.

May sound odd to some, but all day today the landy flew everywhere, better then it has for a month or two, all I did was put £20 more diesel in and a bottle of injector cleaner in the tank and somehow?
Fingers crossed it stays well!
Cheers
How did it go today ?

There was a post on Arbtalk at the time.

The O.P considered the tree had not been reduced sufficiently.

all pipes seem ok but look a tad tatty, will check for de laminating in daylight as soon as I can.
it sounds strange, but I just drove it from cold to the garage and it was as bad as described before, just dies on every hill and I am a gear down on normal, put an extra £20 diesel in and a bottle of STP, switched on again and it was like it was a different truck, pulled up a steep hill in third after playing in some puddles.
Replaced the top sender unit last Feb too
Could it be something settling whilst its parked up? as stupid as it sounds im concidering driving somewhere tomorrow morning, switching off for 2 minutes, and then driving to work after that, probably sounds stupid to all of you, but it somehow seems to do the trick? it is a land rover
Fuel starvation due to filler cap not breathing ?

Or a split in one of the hoses between turbo, intercooler and inlet manifold.

Will it be ok to stick an order in for a new saw via website tomorrow?
Put an order in 9.00pm last night and everything seems normal.
