thanks spud,it may well be problems with bearings as it only happens when running at top end.i will take it apart when i have some spare time and will let you know what i find for future reference.i have just replaced the crankcase bearings on my 575 xp which made a vaguely simarlar noise. although i may have sucked up one or two mice as i live in a woods...cheers

hi there, i have finally got a leaf blower for my business from ebay,i knew it was gonna have a noise so i plan to repair it.the 2008 blower starts easy,has good compression but makes an odd noise at high revs and a clicking noise when dropping of the revs.does anyone have any idea what it maybe as i havent pulled it apart yet. regards mattgd (hazelnut tree care) east kent

hi,i saw a sick 60ft eucy here in kent across a few gardens from the tree i was working in.it was full of dying brown leaves.i couldnt check any parts of the tree but it looked like its days were numbered...
