  1. Hey life was for living back then! free love and all that, tho it was the late 90's and not the 60's.

Horse trials? good luck for sunday and hope the weather is good for you. is it a big comp? did you do the facebook thing, im not sure what im doing on there!!

  2. what you doing this weekend? when i was at college it was beer, sex, and a little studying!

Once i left, it was work, beer and remembering what sex was like, as i was too tired from work!) funny what college can do for you!

  3. i will take your word for it, blondie!

  4. yeah, they are sharp! hitch climber wont be on your course, its a bit like a split tail system, with a pulley to make it slick and fast, needs some practice, but good for climbing and working, love it for branch walking, and descents at speed!! not being blonde i wouldnt know, but i hear you have more fun!

  5. shocking! I never found the gym was needed, if you are up for that then you arent working hard enough!) what climbing technique do you use? I find that the hitch climber setup works pretty well, would love a spiderjack, but its ££££! and i need to update my chainsaws this year!

  6. too late i joined! if you want to look me up its adam normandylumberjack, original no?

  7. I need all the help i can get to keep me out of trouble! I know what you mean, although not been climbing for long it is great fun, but I think girls have a slight advantage, as with horse riding, in that they are "anotomicaly" better suited if you get my drift? its murder sometimes! do you do facebook? i keep being told to join but dont know if its a good idea?

  8. crazy is my middle name! Work for the most part, either in the woods or renovating my house. just being outdoors and enjoying the fresh air. I was toying with the idea of horse logging a few years back, but being that i know nothing about horses it seemed like a daft plan! My dogs keep me out of trouble, for the most part. are you still studying, or is it big bad world time?

  9. what do you do when not tree climbing?

  10. That sounds like a good way to think. I wish i could tune out for a while! Good luck to you, and if your travels take you near normandy, give me a shout and Im sure i can find you a tree to climb.

  11. Yes, I have a small forestry company in Normandy, but recently I have moved towards climbing as work in the forests here is getting thin on the ground. Being young ish (29) i hope that im not too old to make it happen.

what is you goal within the industry? are you the driven type that whants her own empire? or happy to be a gun for hire? I think i fall between the two!

    Adam

  12. Hi Jennie, glad to see you are working towards working in Arb'. I once went out with a girl that was a very gifted climber, and lopper, but she fell foul of "the lads" banter, and gave it up. Anyway, i hope you dont get the same stick, and if you do shrug it off, because there are far few girls doing this IMO. Good luck, and please excuse the forward nature of my message. Adam.
