Sadly when one hears of forestry equipment from,"way off road isolated wood land operations ,sheds",being stolen one must surely start to ask oneself which individuals know that equipment is there ???? I my mind it may not always be the pikkees , as some of the larger stuff must be pinched to order or by someone short of money wanting to get started in forestry on the cheap. It is easy for people to say "this stuff is soon out of the country",
where does it go abroad ,some obviously does .
This has been my conclusion for a while , just to be able to start and drive some kit you have to know what your doing - it's in no way opportunist

So it's going to trial and our lads have to go as witnesses - what a waste of time and money this country has gone mad - let us deal with the PTO way justice sorted and no re offending

Just thought I'd share with you all our experience from today. We've been plagued by numerous break ins on a job we are doing in Sheffield including our track chipper. One of our teams locked a strimmer in the transit on the back seat when they returned a local scrote on a motorbike had smashed the rear windows and was making off with the strimmer they gave chase and managed to pull him off the bike, fortunately an unmarked police car was passing and arrested him , he'd also stolen the bike.

Don't touch the 261with a barge pole ! Cheaply manufactured and it shows . Go for the similar priced / power model husqvarna you won't regret it
