  4. Mulcher Driver Required (AHWI RT400)

    Must be willing to stay away and ideally - handy with spanners, when required.

  5. Excavator Driver Required

    Kingwell Holdings Ltd. are looking for another excavator operator to drive 21ton to 30ton machines on site clearance with tree shears, grapples and flail heads. Will also be loading shredders and using stump splitters. Must be willing to stay away and ideally - handy with spanners, when required.

  7. 3000+ stumps to get rid of what's best?

    Hi Tom. An RT400 mulcher will shred these down to a fine mulch that can be spread back across the site, but this will require an excavator and grapple to either work on a single pad next to the stockpile or to row up the stumps across the site. This will process a minimum of 1ha of stumps per day. You can also shred them and sell the product using a slow-speed grinder and this will give you a return on the product and clear it from the site. This processes at between about 50 tons per hour and will also need an excavator to feed it. [ame=

    We require an operations manager for our sites and office. The role will also involve some procurement and general admin.

    You should be proficient in Excel, Outlook and be capable of keeping detailed records, as well as work programming.

    Knowledge of health and safety and a background in forestry machinery will be an advantage.

    There will be some nights away with this position. Vehicle and all expenses included.

    Plant Fitter/ Engineer/ Driver Wanted

     

    Fancy a change of scene?

     

    We are seeking a trained and skilled fitter to look after our small fleet of specialist mulching machines and to also help with driving them.

     

    If you like to see machines maintained to an immaculate standard, as well as helping to design, alter and modify construction equipment to work on site clearance, then this job is for you.

    The job will involve service and repair in the field as well as our yard, as well as operating them when there is no service work. Typically, there is a lot of electrical and hydraulic issues to find and deal with, as well as the usual mechanical issues.

     

    Top rates of pay, 4×4 service vehicle and all expenses are included. Ideally, you will have CPCS ticket for excavator above 5 ton, but this is not essential.

     

    We are a small, friendly company – Based in Braintree. We work for major contractors across South East & the rest of the UK as principle sub-contractors.

     

    Please note that there will be some nights out for this job.

     

    You must be able to use a computer, keep detailed service records and will be responsible for keeping our equipment in tip-top condition.

    Kingwell Holdings are looking for a skyline crew for a long term contract.

    Excavator-based kit on large timber up to 1.2m diameter.

    Extraction will be up and down gradients.

    Positions: Machine operator/rigger. Saw operator/chokerman.

    There will be limited choker work on the landing - 90% will be slope work.

    This work requires long-term experience with large timber on difficult access and is not suitable for novices.

    Full-time position, top rates of pay, productivity bonus, tax-free night out money, all expenses and vehicle provided.
