  10. I've ordered from them 4 times and twice they've cocked it up. Yes they are often cheaper but A 50/50 chance of getting your order right?! Got loads from honey brothers and they have been spot on every time
  11. Big thumbs down for Northern Arb supplies. I don't think the staffing issue has been sorted out at all. I ordered gear from them 4 weeks ago, the guy who can help me has been 'dealing with other customers' but will ring back.. Been told this twice, no call back. Have emailed, no reply. Good firms consistently give good customer service. Seems this lot are way off. Take your hard earned elsewhere..
  12. True enough and laser trumps pencil
  13. Out of interest, what do lpa's use to measure the height of trees?
  14. Looking for a groundy / general assistant for a mixture of tree work, hedge cutting and mowing in the summer. Some experience in this area of work essential - Tickets preferred Own transport beneficial. Work would initially be for a few days a week and is in Leeds and Bradford areas. P.M me if interested. Cheers
  15. Got an email from one of the Arb gear suppliers a few days ago (regrettably deleted it..) They're doing the haas for £99.99 ex vat. Anyone else get it? If so can you tell me the discount code please? Cheers
  16. Mines steel allround - first stop repair, anyone recommend a fabricator in the bfd/Leeds area?
  17. Mark - we might be able to get a deal on 2 tipper beds
  18. My bed is spot on compared to yours. Looks like a new un for sure
  19. Thanks for your input, hopefully the bearers will still have life in them... I'll have a proper look an see how the 3 visible sides are doing
  20. Like to hear from anyone who's 'bobbed' a new one on
  21. sure, I'll send you pics later. There must be half a dozen areas where it's gone right through..
  22. Just seen your reply Pete, I type slow (big fingers..)
  23. You thinking patch up job? Thing is, the original steel sheets wrap around the body, the wheel arches are then welded onto it (partly) as are the hinges for the drop sides plus the tie points. Makes me wonder if it's structural? If so that may rule out cutting the old one out from the inside..
  24. So old bed is rusting away.. Anyone successfully replaced one?
