We are seeking a groundsman. Must have a chainsaw ticket and experience working with Tree Surgeons. At the moment this is not a full time position however there are plenty of shifts available with immediate start for the right person. Taking down road side Beech, require 2 additional staff. Work is scheduled from Tuesday 31st October - Friday 3rd November. In order to remove the tree Scottish Power Energy Works have arranged a power shut down and line drop for this entire period. The job should only take 2 days or so, have allowed for delays incase of bad weather so need availability for entire period. There will be 3 other staff on the job, climber, head groundsman, and groundsman. Looking for additional staff with hands on experience working with Tree Surgeons, Chainsaw Ticket, PPE etc. We may also be looking for a Groundsman to work on an ad hoc basis as and when required a couple of days per week. Familiarity with operating chippers and towing trailers an advantage. Would prefer someone with some climbing experience or a willingness to learn. Must be reliable with own transport.
