I have a Husky 440e . A 40cc model .I cut dry oak logs for my fires at home. Bought it in 2009 in UK as cheaper than here in France. My logs may not be as large as yours , but I cut every week, and will go through 12+ cu meters this season. Bigger is better !!

Hello all I have a Husky 440e , and cut my own wood for winter. I have used synt oils since it was born in 2009 ( the saw , not me). I am now on Belray H1-R , as I could not stand the smell of other brands of synt oil. Does anyone else hate some smells that oils make ? or is it just me ?

I have Husky 440e , I had some Husqvarna oil supplied with it , once I finished that lot, I have used Stihl synthetic oil in it ever since. Dilution at 50:1 , same mixture as my brushcutter. Strimmer , and no probs. I use Bio oil on the chain , as I had cloging/sludge with ordinary mineral chain oil. Dont mess with cheepo stuff.
