    Trees like in the vid are a fairly common occurrence in line clearance, as do jobs that are far more difficult. I think the job was performed in a rather unsafe manner, and this time luckily no one got hurt and the power is still on. In Mr. Murphies last video he was working out the procedure used in this video. Of Two trees in the vid. One falls against the back cut and into the back yard they are trying to keep it out of. The second shows him running right where the tree will fall for his escape route and the tree causing much collateral damage that was seemingly unnecessary.

    I asked him how long it took him to set up the ropes to pull the second tree over and if he used the bucket or climbed to do it. He never answered. Strange he would trust the hinge after stating how bad of shape the wood was in in the hinge area. The ropes seem at quite a sharp angle toward the ground also. I think he was lucky.
