  1. First 2 pics show that you do not need a branch unions to attach ropeguide and can be choked onto poles and yet retrieval is just as easily.... What more do you want... Someone had his thinking cap on too figure that one out....Nice is working on mine nicely..

    No slack

Yeah bro thats the one just switch the ropeman for a small webbing sling set as a prussic and conect it to the hitch climbers middle hole.. As Drew has said there is real potential for the ropeman to move to far away and you will not be able to retrieve it... I Might just add that we have been told we cant use a revover as a single link to our climbing systemns as there is to much bend ratio applied to the rope around the small pulley.. Iam not sure what tests have been done on the bend ratio put on ropes when run threw the revolver so stand to be corrected Drew may know more....
  3. focus on the slackless systemn or o-Rig..... very gd buy.... if you have a revolver more options r available as well
  4. Check this site out has got cool ideas but are not limited to only these.... eg..I put the 88 or 66 in the third hole so the saws wieght is transfered off my hips and placed inside the climbing system..It is very IMPORTANT to remove the lanyard from 3rd whole when cutting as if saw is caught in wood it may destroy the hitchclimber.. treemagineers if it doesnt work search treemaginers, on the website is product info under hitch climber.. hope it helps....

    Unicender...

Cheers for link.. new too site so would off searched deepr in previous topics if i knew how.. now i know who to talk 2...
  6. ..Have recently been gifted a unicender to trial and am loving it.. Personally i believe it is Gods gift to single line rope Tq. but would like to hear how other people have found it and if they have any extra tips.. I have used it in two regional comps in NZ. hopefully a third this week.. Would it be accepted at the worlds???? Thanx ..From the bruda down under..
  7. Ive been using a Cinch for little over a year now and will not go back to any other system i have tried.. pros. over hitches is that it never bites no matter how much sap is on your rope and it is much more compact, sitting nicely on either the right or left hand side D's.. The Cinch can be released under full load precisely by using the black handle, It also can realease rope quickly, threw a lil twist of the Cinch to an open feed/release positon.. Where it comes into its own is when it is used as a single line system... This is a secondary system only limted bye the length of rope you carry as a lanyard (mine is about 5m).. perfect for work positioning in tricky day to day circumstances.. All that is needed is a small RATED webbing sling which prevents side loading of the carbiner when it is locked off to a limb.. The cinch is then used single line just remember that ascending a single line system like this requires more strength so attaching a pantin foot ascender my help..
