  1. I have seen a grinder type tool for sale, damn if I can remember where it was though. You put the chain on this sharpening machine and it would rotate the chain forward for you as it went. The grinder part would come down and hit the tooth, then when the grinder went back up the chain would automatically be fed forward to the next tooth. I can't say if it was any good, or maybe it's one of those you buy and then kick yourself for falling for it ? It did look like a really neat set up when I saw it. I imagine someone in here has seen it or knows who sells them
  2. I have always filed by hand. Now I have wanted to try a grinder more than once. I was taught the sharpen by hand method by my dad and never did attempt it any other way. Some day when I have the money and am thinking about it I would like to investigate them a bit and get one to try out.
  3. I have at times seen quite a few fishy looking Husky's on there, not real recently though. I've heard as well a bit about a scam where people on there sell these Chinese junk saws passed off as Husky's. I feel bad for the people who are clueless about saws and them thinking they've hit upon a hell of a deal.
  4. Right now I own a Husky 365 ( very well used and abused, bought it from my dad ) and I use my brothers 029 Super quite a bit lately. Both are fine saws, damned tough and never have given me a bad time with anything. My personal preference is the Husky's but the Stihl's I have ran seem bulletproof. I just bought a new John Deere CS- 71 on E- Bay. He mailed me right back and said " Sorry, I don't have that model after all ". So he refunded me and I picked up a used Husky 371Xp. I am excited about trying that one out when it gets here. Have a good weekend gang.
