    NW Cutters

Hi. Any NW based cutters looking for work express your interest here. NPTC tickets obviously a must, cscs, pts and a towing licence a definite advantage. Thanks. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  5. Hi, In terms of PTO Chippers on 3 point linkage, what's the competition against a Schliesing 550? What's the biggest/best etc? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  6. PM me with your details, have working starting soon if you have PTS/CSCS. Cheers Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

    NW Work

Putting the feelers out for anyone local to the Preston area who may be interested in helping on an arb gang, potentially in a supervisory role. Pretty much 100% commercial work. Driving license essential, B+E or pre 97 a major advantage. Obviously the more tickets the better, NPTC's etc etc. Good work ethic essential. Work covers NW and NE but really looking for someone who could start their working day at the depot. Any questions, queries just post or PM.
  13. Typsey, sent you a PM before, did you get it?
  14. Just putting the feelers out for anyone in the North West, preferably with the above qualifications. Obviously the more NPTC type units the better, but to be honest it's the above that cause the most head scratching. Anyone interested PM me. Ta.
  15. Hi Lee, At the moment pts is a big help, and cscs is always handy. However no, they're not necessary for all the jobs. By all means PM me with a bit about yourself, tickets, location, number etc. Chances are the pts/cscs stuff will tie up those who have them, so other work will most likely have a shortfall if it crops up... Cheers
  16. Hello again, If anybody needs a lift with anything in the Lancashire area over the next few weeks, I know a lad who might be able to help. Has his ground and climbing tickets, cscs card, and is a good worker. Only snag is he doesn't drive. Works for me most of the time, but will probably be free for a week or three due to not having a pts card. Any questions, PM me. Cheers
  17. Either really, probably have enough climbers at the moment but always good to know plenty. But at the moment any sort of pts cutter is good.

  18. Further to the post the other day, if there's anyone NW based with PTS ticket looking for some work PM me. Ta
  19. Hi Yeti, I'm based Preston way, work is all over the NW and quite often beyond. Where about's are you? PM me a number if you can...
  20. Hi all, If anyone in the North-West area is currently looking for work I'd be glad to hear from you. CSCS and PTS an advantage, and as always the more tickets the better. Towing ability would also be good. But happy to hear from all. Cheers
  21. Hi, Looking for a crane fed PTO chipper to hire in (pref with operator) for a job in the new year. The job is a rail site so PTS would be handy, but there's really good 3rd party access so a crane with a decent reach would probably mean the tractor could stay off NR land and just chip back onto it. If anybody knows of anyone, drop me a PM. Cheers.
  22. Need a replacement track for my safetrak, think the current track has had its day as it keeps popping off and appears slightly twisted even when under full tension. What do they normally come in at with the VAT? Also, does anybody know the exact size/spec of grease nipple that fits the large nut for tensioning the track? There's a nipple on one side but not the other, if I knew what fitted then it would make ordering a much simpler process... Thanks
  23. Hi, Be interested to hear from any self-employed CSCS cutters, struggling to meet some work requirements so need to get a few more people to call on when things get busy. Groundwork tickets as a minimum, anything else a bonus. Not a permanent position, but if anyone has any questions by all means ask. Based in Preston area, work covering North West and very occasionally North East. Cheers Ben
