Do you have any particular hardwoods in mind ? If so what size logs are you looking for?

I am based just north of nantwich - about 30 mins from wrexham - and have a mixture of ash, alder, cherry, oak and eucalyptus in various sizes from 6" diameter to 18" diameter and all in various lengths/rings. You are welcome to come over and take a look. should also be getting some beech in soon as well

Hi Isaac, thanks for the comments on the website. Barrow bags are from
BAG Supplies :: Packaging Suppliers covering the UK, Europe and North America
Good company to deal with and have a huge variety of bags and nets etc.
I tend to tip the bags out so can be re-used on a regular basis. Some people do ask if they can keep the logs in the bags but I try and put them off by telling them the logs will sweat and poss go mouldy. The vented ones are better for this but aren't as easy to handle. I have left bags once or twice and asked for a deposit of £10/bag. This more than covers the cost of a new bag but you have to buy a minimum of 50 at a time. I have 50 of each and keep them filled and stored in a poly tunnel ready for delivery. Hope that helps mate, Dave

Hi mate, it's a Thor Farmer multi-use splitter, 13T pressure and is really good. Just about able to move it around single handed. I paid about £3,500 i think last summer. You can get a table for splitting shorter pieces. Mine came via M.Large Tree Services, should be able to find them easy enough on a google search. Not many good road-towables around
