  2. That van got my business of the ground, I owe it everything. I replaced it with a new Hilux and was the biggest mistake I've ever made! Now selling Hilux and buying another Berlingo.
  3. £1k cheaper for chassis cab, £5k to put body on. Money is not really the concern here, it comes down to image, usability and ease of converting. Tipper seemed like a good idea as could get it to work ASAP and I could worry about getting professional body if we ever get quite. But it would look a little cheap and thrown together compared to Landy.
  4. Currently run 110 Tipper and don't want to go to much bigger, narrow access is what drew me to it . Is a SWB going to be enough though? I measured a 10ft bed compared to 5ft on Landy.
  5. I'm in the process of purchasing a new vehicle and am interested in the thoughts and opinions of owners of the Nissan Cabstar. I will be purchasing a new one, more than likely with a tipper already on it. Is there any conversion problems with aftermarket full arb bodies? Or is it easier with chassis cab.

  8. Wendelspanswick, yes we were there doing bits and bobs for NT. Weather was not on our side for most of it but it looks good now.
  9. Hi Matt, ATV or Quad won't be any good in this area. I tried it a few years ago and found the lack of weight meant traction is a problem over 250kg, and forget hills both up and down. I settled on this in the end all in about £30k, it won't make you a millionaire and is not a stand alone business but working alongside other crews and resources it can make a difference on certain jobs. Hope this information helps.
