    Hi Mat, I find filming at true HD you get a better quality of film even watched non HD. I mainly use the HD because i use it as marketing, so i use the highest affordable range of cameras. I've seen some 960 footage online and it still seems to have pretty good clarity so i guess its a good buy although the hero1 has come down in price quite a bit in the recent months.
