  1. second that. we bought a new Arborist 150 a few months ago. Also run a few A530 & 750 Contractor Jensens but fancied a change after looking around at chippers decided on GM. TBH find the GM smoother to tow and more user friendly. Lads prefer it and take it over the Jensens. Not as aggressive with the chip discharge as the Jensens or as good quality chip but IMO more solid built, better price and crushes forks and pulls in just as good if not better. We'll see how it lasts long term.
  2. Have previously owned an A530 and currently have a 750. In my humble opinion 750 built lighter, not as much torque in the engine and not generally built as robust. Tends to bounce around alot on the road when towing as the bulk of the weight seems to be sat behind the axle. Had my A530 for 7-8 years of hard graft , was treated to a respray and spruce up after 5 and was still working well when we sold her. No major problems. Replaced it with the 750 some 3 years ago and although nothing major until recently just lots of niggly stuff generally and the one major structural fault - chassis snapped. Have heard of another doing the same to a local contractor that was under 12 months old. Good chipping performance for the size of machine.
