  1. Ive got to replace my old harness (dragonfly). Overall i was happy with it but d rings for side strop got abit pinchy at times and belt buckle loosened after a while which was a nuisance so fancy something new.

Main thing for me is back support. You need your back so im trying to look after it as best as i can.

I looked at the willans with sliding bridge. Bit old school but its a good solid harness. Tree flex sounds good aswell

I know in the end ill have to try them out and see which one suits me best whats good for one isnt another but im interested in peoples opinions of harnesses and back support.

    Cheers :001_cool:

I've got a tree flex bought it because my backs screwed. Have no compailnts loads of support very comfortable to have on all day.

  4. What and where should I be looking for? I want something decent which will last long term and not need constant tinkering to keep it on the road. It's going to be the second truck and we don't work far from home so it won't be doing a lot of miles with us. and it should be yellow:001_smile:

Any one used or have comments about:

    MOD sales

    Nene Overland

    the Defender Center

My first car was a petrol series 3 back in 1991. I'm guessing they've changed a little.

    It's got to be a 130... or should I consider a 110 3500GWT..

    Are there engines/years to avoid?

Does age matter or is it all about condition?

    What's a reasonable milage?

Is there any thing to look out for, does the chassis still rot?

How much should I be spending?

I'm just about to put my 110 Hicap up for sale. 2001 td5 77,500 on the clock.

truckman top. Just recentley serviced MOT'd.

  5. yes the 25x150x1800 boards with a 75mm gap so as the wind will pass through but it closes it right down as i tend to use 50x100mm rail.

i never use postcrete always concrete:thumbup1:

I've got some to do, I might be a bit thick but what dont you like about post crete (never used it).

  6. The best advice I would give when buying a chipper is to choose the brand whose dealer has the highest spare parts stock as waiting 3weeks for a part will cripple you and is unacceptable.

I also found 'Arbrep Services' and Charles is a mechanical genius at fixing machinery properly and fast.

I agree charles is fanastic got my 620 back on the road quickly.
