It is important that we make a distinction between "mental health" and mental ill health.
My own outlook is to look for how one can nurture health in general (without separating mental from physical - as I believe these are so frequently interdependent); and to try to understand ill health in order to help those who are suffering.
Like so many others, I speak from experience.
Sorry to interupt you young lady ... but youve just reminded me to drop two of my most akward clients . They pay well and ...most likely mean well . Although they always ask for the impossible . Oak tree in half and make it round ?.......
Im at a stage in life when I kinda want a bit of slack ....
I live in the area I work ......
Out for a coffee , and some random person will ask for a price for someting or other ?
No escape for me lass .......
I,d happily put some of my customers through the chipper ......

It certainly real, the biggest cause of death in men under 45 is themselves.
Women attempt suicide more often then men, but men tend to success
Thats seriously worrying , for both genders ? Social media ? Bigger muscles , more money , better tan , bigger tits , faster car .... ? Why cant people be happy with there lot . Pure greed and one upmanship is real ....
Truth is most of us will be buried in a standard sized grave / coffin ... no matter how much coin you have .
By the time most people realise that money isnt all that ...its to late . I'm a fool .......... I know this is true because I still struggle with the work life balance . Anyone care to enlighten me .. : )

I fooking wish ..... shed a few tears in my time stressing over..... nothing really .
This industry is hard on the body and mind . Sometimes I wish I never got into trees , then otherdays Im superman and batman rolled into one ... ?

Doesn’t stop it being a great vid amico!
You could add comments about how you would do the job now that more advanced techniques are available (I can’t think of many though!), and you’re a bit older, wiser and possibly heavier, like the rest of us!
@Steve Bullmanis nearly 140kg now, I believe.
140kg same weight as your wallet nowadays Geordie boy .
Take some spending at Spanish City that wad ....... : )

Once of a day i could of smashed two of those full breakfasts with extra toast!
These days i struggle with the full breakfast.
I did do the big daddy breakfast last year but it crippled me for rest of the day and still felt full morning after.
I’m on a reduced food and drink intake since new year, on had my first drop of whiskey last weekend since new year, and food wise i’ve just tried reducing portions. Its been good to be fair and i have felt better, but that defo filled me up for today that did!Reduced food is good , but I draw the line at reducing Dads pop ; )

No work for me this morning, that was a treat / bribe from the mrs so i’d go shopping with her. Basically i laboured for her..... chauffeured her there and back, guided the trolley round (through) a multitude of 1st class ignorant idjets, picked up the tab and lumped all the goods in to car! hang on a minute....... she screwed me over me thinks!!!
Normally i only eat something around 8am, usually one of my concocted butties of some sort as stated in original post, and then i’m good till tea timeWhat a Gentleman , mind you morrisions do a good brekkie menu ; )

My trouble is i dont have the time to do the bacon, sausage, mushrooms etc or i would.
It takes me literally 3 mins to sort my egg & b/pud butty out and start tucking in. Just after some other quick go flavours. Things to back up a bit after five days on the eggs ?If your using a frying pan ...chuck some Corned beef slices in or Haslet . Pepperoni slices from any supermarket also go down well . Chicken Tikka pieces from the fridge are a nice addition to an omellete .

Just had a little gander ...... Is this your company ?
One of the projects stated that a tree surgeon was certified to climb to 56FT ....... ?
Never heard of this height specific malarkey before ?
Our insurance was worded along the lines of any tree in the uk .... height unlimited .
Although I think our insurers messed up when there said we could clear ivy from any building up to the gutter level ....? Really ......
-
Never done that . I have though removed a large leylandii , cut n chuck method dropped into a large silage trailer parked at the base of the tree . That was a satisfying day .

We have a Firefox 5 multifuel in the small front room ....10 x 15 ft . After an hr or so of burning it gets very warm ...so we open the room door to let the heat flow throughout the house . Its also very frugal on wood . Ive just fitted the same Firefox 5 model in my eldest sons house . Outstanding value .

If you learn how to weld properly and have the desire to fabricate a tipping body .....it really isnt hard to do on a budget .

What time would you consider is too early to start everyday for £10p.h ? I usually will work 9-5 type hours when doing sub subcontractor work or my own jobs .(£15-£20 p.h )
never been one for early starts .im not lazy just realistic .and really can't see myself starting this early .been talking to someone who wants me to do some groundie jobs to start at 06.45 and is around 25 min drive so probably have to leave at 6.15 and be up 5.45 . I was just looking for bit more winter work initially as things can slow down a bit coming into the winter .i was going to try it for a day with them tommorow but not sure now .even the thought of it makes me tired lol
