  1. We Have been Passed on a job to remove A small group of roadside sycamores by a local LA tree team, they do not want to touch them , due the presence of sooty bark disease, and have sent me a load of info regarding health issues and disposal but none of it is current or relevant to the UK. does any one have any more info on this topic  as i'm bored of google.

  2. We are currently seeking a full time climber for our office in mid Bedfordshire, must hold all relevant cs units and have a full UK driving licence.

  4. Thou shall not partake in fermented beverage's on stormy night's.

    Thou shall avoid all weigh bridges on return journeys.

    Thou shall show no false favour to ash over conifer Logs.

    Thou shall not get court pissing in thy clients garden.

    :lol::lol:

  5. It's not just you team players that have to contend with these issues.

    I work by myself and the banter often goes beyond acceptable levels. I have tried the storming off in a husty tactic numerous times, but to little effect, aside from a marked slowdown in my productivity!

    :lol::lol:

  6. Take it in a positive vane and a learning opportunity...personally I wouldn't pursue this 'line of enquiry' as it's gonna be time consuming and there may be future repercussions, i.e. more visits.

    Cheers..

    Paul

    oh no, been around the industry too long too push our luck , we are IMO damn good at h+s but not daft enough to show up too much on the radar:biggrin:

  7. Poss. coincidentally she lived in village and been on recent HSE 'Treework' 3-day course.

    Re- £124 per hour (HSE - 'Fee for Intervention') HSE have reaassured me that 'investigations of material breaches' will not be undertaken lightly and principally aimed at persistent offenders (often known to HSE.)

    Nonetheless it does 'focus the mind' and will hopefully have a positive effect on improving H&S, partic. on site, but also at the documentary level....'ARB Approved Contractor' anyone? :biggrin:

    Take care out there.

    Cheers all..

    Paul
