  1. Fair point bud. I managed to find 1 of a dieing breed, an old school saw mechanic! Had it into him today and he said it was a carb problem, the saw is 22 years old so he also did a compression test on it and reckons its like brand new but it turned out the carb wasnt quite right set up so he adjusted it and the saw seems to be like a new machine, hope it works

  2. my uncle is running a help for heroes log and kindler buissiness in dumfries and is potentialy looking for more timber, he has already had about 23 ton from a local estate delivered, rougly 10m lengths of semi seasoned timber, im looking for prices delivered to dumfries probably about 20t at a time or more if the wagon can get in.

  3. hi guys, been a while but i have been asked to id a tree by a client but im having a hard time working it out.

i dont have a picture as it was dark but the leaf is massive, 6 - 8 inches wide.

quite a dark green in colour with 4 rounded points, they are all very uniform in size and colour.

the bark of the tree is for want of another word, mildly rough? almost like rough beech

prob not enough info there but if someone knows what it may be it would be much appreciated.

oh and the bark is quite green and the tree isnt very old id guess maybe 10 - 15 yrs

    cheers

    Allan
