Hi David, I use my alaskan occasionally more for my own use when there is a decent piece of timber in a tight location where i cant get the ATV or landy to extract it, I use the timber my self generally rustic garden furniture tables etc. I do enjoy using it but its quite thirsty on fuel and slow but if you have the time and some nice timber, its a cheap way of utilising it rather than logging it all. I maybe use it half a dozen times a year, when i have a job im not in a rush with (so mostly on the in-laws farm)

     

    I do use mine on my husky 372xp even though i have a big stihl, as i find the time difference isnt to bad and the fuel saving is quite a lot about 33% less with the husky for the same amount of timber.
