Listen close to the forward / reverse paddles & check there’s a click each way of the paddle micro switch, they sometimes stick .

Hello. Has anyone got experience of Rotatech blades? I found an old post together with 3 or four replies. Most said they had no problems but one post said that someone he knew had a blade shatter. Obviously there could have been a reason unrelated to the blades being defective and the reply was not from the person directly affected. It would be reassuring to hear from people that actually use them. They are a bit cheaper than the Timberwolf ones (we all like to save a bob or two) but naturally I don’t want to save money at the risk of having one or both shatter and end up causing a lot of damage and expense to my chipper. In case it matters I have a little TW125PH chipper. Any replies from Rotatech users will be much appreciated.
QRMS Ltd are doing 150 & 190 blades & are very good value (less than half rotatech price) I had a couple of sets through my 150 before I upgraded with no issues, there getting 230’s in soon.

John mason had all the bits in stock for my old 150 when I rebuilt the rollers might be worth a call on Monday, how are you surviving without that subway on site ?👍

Does such a thing exist off the shelf?
I'm after a tank for diesel to sit on a small machine. Would really have to be steel for strength as it would be exposed. Ideally 10l or 15l capacity. Any Motorcycles and Military vehicle parts

Maybe a bit temporary butyou could use a smaller Jerry can

500i is nice to run but a pig to start, especially when cold.
You must have a bad one or I must have a very good one, the starting is one of its best points up a tree 2nd pull or never more than 3 & it’s away, you do prime it don’t you ?

There certainly will be an oil pump available somewhere. Just not through the usual channels. The sprocket that drives the pump is plastic,it becomes brittle with age and breaks at the pump. Or the pump seizes and shears the sprocket off.
What bits do you need Mike ?

Got a mag drill Mike, if you need one just pop round .

I used one on a 8100, after the pto was engaged I think I used to use the spool for either forward or reverse it was very powerful & could push the tractor forward with all the wheels locked up , I think some of the components were off a Ford Cargo.
you had to be careful after coming off road & using to drive trailer that the pto / coupling had been disabled by shunting back & forward a bit of moving to spool otherwise the shaft would match the speed of the tractor & shear the shaft off, the crane was a Grafter but a few had Botex fitted & you had to be careful because of no legs were fitted so until you got a few big lumps on it was very tippy .

If you’ve been affected at all & are thinking of applying you can always put the money to one side/ separate account, if your worried about it.

Very nice!
Is that a couple of big screeners in the background as well? Yours?
No not mine, my little loader would easily fit into the bucket of a Doosan loader which the lad has who owns the screens !

For Cast Loaders (which are very good), in England it would be Spectrum Plant I think.

I’ve had one for a couple of years now & it’s been a great help, I think the newer ones have a different headstock & auxiliary pipes that are easier to use which is a good thing, front mud guards are all metal & Yanmar motor, just glad Spectrum plant have taken them on because dealer backup was limited before

I opted for one of thiese & it does all I ask of it, it rolls brash up nicely & will lift logs well, I went for the single ram to keep weight down, think it was around £900 & but I had my own brackets made .

I bought some from this place a few years ago.

We've been using a loader to take fences down this week. After the wire was cut, the loader pulled it out. We just slowly nudged into the posts half way up then we could easily pull the post out by hand.
If you are on your own I'd say a 4 in 1 bucket would be good & a useful thing to have if you haven't got one.

As above, I can't pull out the extension.
The clamp is loose and the inner shaft rotates slightly but can't pull it out.
Anyone else had this issue before I send it back?
Cheers...Al.
I had the same problem with mine it was a small plastic clip with 2 lugs on that had snapped off in side the shaft which is slightly oval making it very hard to pull, I got so far in but when the motor or switch had to be taken off I thought, hang on what am I doing this for ! So I put it back together & took it to the dealer who sorted it for me under warranty.

Looks ideal, do you sit the bag on a pallet to lift it off the hooks?
Yes & swap the bucket for the pallet forks.
